Children ‘capture’ words by reading a word card that a child is holding and rolling a ball between their legs.
Summary
- Half of the group stand in the playing area holding word cards. The other half of the group are in teams, each of which has a small ball.
- The adult calls a word and a child from each team has to ‘capture’ the correct word by finding the word card and rolling a ball through the legs of the child that is holding it.
