Activity: Find the Number

Children use the numbers on the Enrich Phonics and Number Markers to practise recognising the numerals for numbers 1 – 20 and to count up to 20.

Summary

  1. Children are verbally given a number between 1 and 20, which they then have to locate on one of the Enrich Phonics and Number markers. They then practice putting these numbers into short sequences.

      Children locate Enrich Phonics and Number Markers from their pictures. At each marker, they look at one of the numbers and work out what is one more and one less than that number.
