Activity: La Date

Pupils use their orienteering map to visit control points, where they record specified numbers from each marker. They use the number, together with the month, which is given in English, to write out the full date in French.

Los Numeros 1 - 10 (Phonics Markers)

Pupils use the Enrich Phonics and Numbers Control Markers to locate specific control points. At each one, they record the first number from the control marker in digits and then write the Spanish word for this number.

Los Meses - Months

Pupils are in two teams, competing in pairs. Each pair is given the Spanish name for one of the months. The teacher calls out a month in Spanish and the pair of pupils with that month race to earn a point for their team.
