Activity: Les Mois – Months

Pupils are in two teams, competing in pairs. Each pair is given the French name for one of the months. The teacher calls out a month in French and the pair of pupils with that month race to earn a point for their team.

Summary

  1. Pupils are put into 2 teams of competing pairs. 
  2. Each pair is given the name of a month in French. 
  3. The teacher calls out a month in French and the pair with that month stands up, steps over the legs of their class-mates, and races around the group to return to their seat.
