Activity: Les Nombres 1- 30

Pupils play a game of mouchoir – handkerchief game. In pairs, they are given a French number between 1 and 30 and must run to grab the handkerchief when the teacher calls their number.

Summary

  1. Pupils are put into 2 teams who must stand facing one another.
  2. Each pair of facing students are given a number in French between 1-30.
  3. The teacher stands in the middle, holding a handkerchief (mouchoir) and calls a number.
  4. Pupils must race to the teacher and grab the handkerchief first, winning a point for their team.

Les Jours - Days

Pupils complete a relay race to collect days of the week cards in French. Once they have collected all 7 cards, they must arrange them in order from Monday to Sunday. The first team to finish are the winners.
