Activity: One More Than, One Less Than (Single-Digit Numbers)

Pupils use their Enrich school orienteering maps to locate specific control points. At each one, they record the four numbers from the control marker and identify ‘1 more’ and ‘1 less’ for each number.

Summary

  1. Pupils use the Enrich school orienteering map to locate their starting point and specific control points.
  2. At each control point, pupils record the four numbers from the control marker on their Activity Sheet.
  3. They then fill in ‘1 more’ and ‘1 less’ for each of the four numbers.
