Activity: Place Value Orienteering Challenge – Biggest and Smallest Numbers

Children locate orienteering control points and use the numbers on the markers to complete a series of place value challenges.

Summary

  1. Children use their orienteering map to locate and select control points.
  2. At each one they select, they use numbers from the marker to make the biggest or smallest number as indicated on their Activity Sheet.
  3. There are 5 different place value challenges on the Activity Sheet.
