Activity: Prepositional Phrases

Children locate control points and use the letters from the control marker to complete prepositions. They then use these in sentences which describe settings.

Summary

  1. Children locate control points using their Enrich school orienteering maps.
  2. At each control point, they use letters from the control marker to complete a different preposition..  
  3. When they have collected all of the prepositions on their Activity Sheet, they choose some of them to compose sentences that describe settings.
