Activity: Tree Structure Team Build

Children use PE equipment to create models of the structure of some common trees.

Summary

  1. In teams, children collect separate items of PE equipment as a relay.
  2. Each team has a diagram, representing a tree, with a key to indicate which parts of the tree each item of equipment represents. They work together, using the items of equipment that they have collected, to re-create their tree according to the diagram.
