Activity: Writing Four-Digit Numbers as Words

Pupils use their Enrich school orienteering maps to locate specific control points. At each one, they record the four numbers from the control marker and write this number in words.

Summary

  1. Pupils use the Enrich school orienteering map to locate their starting point and specific control points.
  2. At each control point, pupils fill in the four numbers from the control marker on their Activity Sheet and record the four-digit number that this creates.
  3. They then write this number in words on their Activity Sheets.
