  3. One child in the group will position them seleves in an central location and then direct other member of the group to run to their highlighted control markers. Once there the children retrive the required information from the control marker.

  2. At each control marker, pupils combine numbers together to create a 1 and a 2 digit number.
  3. They set these numbers up as a multiplication sum, complete the sum and record the answer on their Activity Sheet.

Summary

  2. At each control point, pupils fill in the 3rd and 4th number from the control marker on their Activity Sheet.
  3. They combine these two numbers to make a two-digit number.
  4. They then add and subtract either 17, 18 or 19 from the two-digit number that they have made and record their answer on their Activity Sheet.
