Summary

The Activity Sheet contains sentences with one word in bold, each of which is linked to a specific control point.
Children select a word class for each word in bold.
They check each answer by using their orienteering maps to locate the control points – a specified letter from the control marker is next to the correct answer.

They choose from a group of adverbs/conjunctions to add to each clause to create a fronted adverbial.
They then think of an imaginative way to finish the sentence.
