Summary

Children are given one or more short words e.g. CVC/CCVC words.
They are given one of the phonemes from the word (ie initial/medial/final phoneme).
They have to find a marker which has a letter or pair of letters which spells that phoneme.

The adult calls out a sound and the chasers have to use their softball to tag any dodgers who are wearing the letter that represents that sound.
