Summary

Pupils are in pairs or small teams

They use their Enrich orienteering map to locate control points on an Orienteering Easter Trail. They complete a simple sum, using the numbers from the control marker. This shows them the next control point to visit on their trail.

At each control point they collect an Easter egg card.

  1. Children use their Enrich interactive map to locate a series of interactive control markers.
  2. When they locate a marker, they use a digital device to scan the QR code on the marker to activate a short video clip.
  3. This demonstrates how to do a short exercise routine. They complete the routine and then progress on to another marker.
  4. As they complete the trail, children record information on an activity sheet.
  5. They use these activity sheets to map their progress in fitness and stamina as they repeat the trail over a number of weeks.
