Summary

  1. Children locate a series of control points, using their Enrich orienteering control map.
  2. At each control marker, they collect a word by writing the specified reference (1st/2nd/3rd/4th letter) from the control marker into their Activity Sheet.
  3. When they have collected all of the words, they write them in alphabetical order.

Summary

  1. Children use the pictures on their Activity Sheet to locate control markers, each of which has a sentence linked to it.
  2. When they find the correct marker, they need to write in the first letter (or whatever reference the teacher indicates) to show that they have visited the marker.
  3. They then read the sentence on their Activity Sheet (which relates to the picture of the animal on the control marker), identify the correct homophone and write it into the space in the sentence.
  4. They then find the marker that matches with the picture for their next sentence and continue.
