Activity: Digraphs 1
Children play an active game where they each have a letter and in response to the adult calling out a word, have to match with someone holding the other letter to spell the consonant digraph at the beginning or end of the word.
Summary
- Children each have a letter card, which is one of the letters from a selection of consonant digraphs.
- The adult calls a word which contains one of the selected digraphs and children holding a letter from that digraph have to make a pair with the second letter.
