Activity: Score Orienteering

Teams try to score as many points as possible in a given time by selecting and visiting control points, each of which has been allocated a score.

Summary

  • Control points are allocated different scores according to their distance from the starting point.
  • Each time a team member visits a control point and records specified information from the control marker, they gain the points score allocated to that control point for their team.
  • The team that has scored most points at the end of the game are the winners.
