  1. Pupils work in groups of around 10.
  2. They each have a card which shows a sport picture and a Spanish sentence: ‘I play….. (plus the name of the sport)’.
  3. They take turns to read out their cards and the rest of the children in the group act out that sport for 30 seconds.

  1. Pupils have a Spanish word card.
  2. The teacher reads out a sentence in either Spanish or English.
  3. The pupils who have a word in the sentence run to the front of the playing area and make the sentence by standing in a row, holding up their Spanish word cards.
  4. The class or groups of pupils read out the sentence in Spanish.
