Summary

Pupils use the Enrich school orienteering map to locate their starting point and specific control points.
At each control point, pupils fill in either the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th or all four numbers from the control marker on their Activity Sheet.
Using mental strategies, they then add the numbers together.

Children use their Enrich school orienteering maps to locate specific control points.
At each one, pupils record the 3^rd and 4^th numbers and combine these to make a two-digit number (e.g. 4 and 9: 49)
Using mental strategies, they then work out either 9, 10 or 11 more/less than the two-digit number that they have made and record their answers on their Activity Sheet.
